Personalised page for Patrick Lee

Welcome to my personalised page on the International Qualified Actuaries Group website.

I am Patrick Lee and I qualified as FIA (Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries) in 1989.

After spending 9 years at R Watson and Sons (now Willis Towers Watson) in first their pensions then their investment consulting practice (ending up as partner leading their asset allocation consulting in Europe), I set up my own actuarial and other software firm in 1995 with Alun Marriott and then world renowned actuary Professor David Wilkie CBE FFA FIA.

I specialise in cloud software in the Microsoft ecosystem but also with a strong interest in AI.

I am also the founder and General Secretary of the International Qualified Actuaries group.

New international resource for qualified actuaries

We’ve published a concise page for actuaries outside the UK that clarifies eligibility (by qualifying organisation), pricing (including the one‑time £20 + VAT verification fee), and how our AI‑first approach keeps costs low while delivering excellent services. It also explains that INQA members are welcomed to join IAA sections such as ASTIN and AFIR‑ERM (section fees paid directly to the IAA).

Who can join

Qualified actuaries (Fellows or Associates) from the following organisations are eligible for verified membership once qualifications are verified:

  • ASSA, Actuaries Institute (Australia), CIA, CAS, IFoA (and precursors), IAI (India), IAA (Israel), SOA, Society of Actuaries in Ireland

What you get

  • Lower cost, monthly flexibility, and proportionate regulation
  • Straightforward CPD (maintain competence; keep your own records)
  • Optional professional visibility: directory profile + personal page
  • AI‑first efficiencies and practical guidance on using AI responsibly

International recognition & IAA sections
