How to Search

The text you enter in the search box will be used to search for matching text in either of the fields mentioned. Search is not case sensitive.

If no records appear it will be because no records matched your search criteria.

In what follows, Qualifications shows the type of qualification obtained at the time of qualification, then the letters associated with that qualification, then the abbreviation for the organisation that the actuary qualified with, then the year that qualification was obtained.

For example: "Fellow, FIA, IFoA, 1989" means that the actuary qualified in 1989 as a Fellow with letters FIA (Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries) and IFoA is the abbreviation now for the related organisation, the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.  If the actuary has qualified with more than one organisation, entries will be separated by a semi colon (;).

Membership Organisation Abbreviations:

• ASSA: Actuarial Society of South Africa
• AIA: Actuaries Institute of Australia
• CIA: Canadian Institute of Actuaries
• CAS: Casualty Actuarial Society
• IFoA: Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or its precursors: Institute of Actuaries, Faculty of Actuaries)
• IAI: Institute of Actuaries of India
• IlAA: Israel Association of Actuaries
• SOA: Society of Actuaries
• SAI: Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

Please note that Qualification entry is a historical record of the individual passing the relevant exams, or otherwise being awarded that qualification by the external body, in the year in question and is the only part of the record relating to the actuary's membership time with that body. Please note that the entries are the record of the qualification obtained and do not imply anything about the actuary's membership of that (or any other) body since the year of qualification.  Actuaries appearing in the table are current verified members of the International Qualified Actuaries Group.
